About Us
Jamie Lawlor Crash Repairs Ltd., was established in 2002 in Killenaule, Thurles. In 2008 Jamie opened his second bodyshop in the new Ard Gaoithe Business Park in Clonmel.
A steady flow of work based on manufacturer approvals, trade and personal referrals and relationships with the major insurance companies has ensured the continued growth of the business from humble beginnings in 2002 right up to 2014 when a further expansion was required and an additional unit of 3600 square feet was acquired in the adjacent industrial unit. This extra business facilitated even further growth and created an opportunity to acquire some additional space in the adjacent unit presented itself during 2016 and allowed the development of an additional 1800 square feet.

A key component of high-quality body repairs is paint finish. It is more correct to describe vehicle paint as a coating and or re-finish as there are very often different layers of materials and coating applied to achieve the modern lustrous appearance of a premium car.
JLCR are constantly looking for ways to improve repair quality and efficiency to ensure the profitable expansion of the business and remaining abreast of the latest technologies. The most recent 1,800 ft2 expansion completed in May 2017 included the installation of the latest industry innovation – Rapid Repair Bays (RRB’s). Supplied by Lagos Systems, the RRB’s facilitate low-energy drying of vehicle finishes by allowing spray painting outside the baking ovens.
